Tell us your brand, hours, and tone — get clean, recordable scripts for open, closed, holiday, emergency, and department greetings. Short. Clear. On-brand. Ready in 30 seconds.
Most voicemail greetings are rambling, contain unnecessary apologies, and get re-recorded three times before anyone likes them. This tool emits concise, professional scripts keyed to the specific scenario — a 12-second Open greeting, a 10-second After Hours closure, a 15-second Holiday closure with alternative contact, and optional Emergency + Department variants. Paste into your favorite recording tool (or read them into Unity directly), keep the tone, change the specifics, done.
Fill in your brand, click Generate scripts.
Time yourself — each script is written for a specific target duration.
Call the Unity management number, log in, follow prompts, re-record when needed.
Each greeting lives on one Call Handler. Record once; Unity handles the schedule logic.
Three things distinguish a professional greeting from an amateur one. First, duration: under 15 seconds on the open greeting, under 12 on after-hours. Callers wait through greetings; any time over 15 seconds feels long and they start tapping digits to skip. Second, structure: greeting → options → action. "Thanks for calling X. For sales, press 1. For support, press 2. Stay on the line for an operator." No preamble, no apology, no mention of "experiencing high call volume" (every company says this, it's meaningless). Third, the recording itself: a human voice in a quiet room, recorded on a real microphone, not a cell phone against the side of your head.
If you need a non-branded "everything works" baseline, record Unity defaults and move on. If you're investing in brand voice, pay a professional voice-over artist $80–$200 per greeting bundle on Voices.com or Voice123. They'll record the seven or eight greetings, send back broadcast-quality WAV files, and the whole thing costs less than a day of your time re-doing it yourself.
One thing every greeting should have: alternate contact. "If this is urgent, hang up and dial 911" (for medical). "Reach our emergency on-call at 555-1212" (for legal). "Check our status page at brand.com/status" (for SaaS). Callers stuck in a closed-hours loop want an out.
Open: 10–14s. Closed: 10–12s. Holiday: 14–18s. Emergency: 8–10s. Personal: 6–8s.
No — record once, update only when business hours change or a holiday closure is approaching.
You can — Unity supports uploading WAV files. But a human voice reliably outperforms TTS on brand perception. Worth the $100.
