Scorecard · Collaboration
Adoption isn't license count. Score your Webex / Teams / Zoom rollout across usage, meetings, devices, training, and governance — and get the 90-day plan to move the needle.
The most expensive outcome in UC is a fully licensed platform nobody uses. This scorecard measures what actually matters: active messaging, meeting quality, device utilization, training reach, and governance — the difference between paying for collaboration and getting it.
Out of 28. 22+ is real adoption — users depend on it daily. 15-21 is partial adoption with rework opportunity. Below 15 means you're paying for shelfware — focus the 90-day plan on MAU lift and meeting quality first.
Three moves consistently lift adoption: (1) kill email distribution lists for team comms and replace with spaces/channels — forces messaging usage; (2) put video in every conference room with one-touch join — removes the "I'll just dial in" fallback; (3) measure meeting quality publicly — teams with visible MOS charts drive themselves to fix the network. The fourth, often missed, is a champions program: one enthusiast per department beats a top-down training mandate every time.
Common in M&A. Coexist for 6-12 months, then pick primary. Don't run both long-term — kills adoption on both.
It's the floor. Add messages per user per day (>5 is healthy) and meetings joined from rooms (>40% is healthy).
Score 17/28. Priorities: meeting quality dashboards, device refresh in 20 conference rooms, champions program.
Score 12/28. Priorities: pick a primary, deprecate the other over 6 months, sunset legacy PBX.
